Infrastructure funding has been announced for Huron County, and its nine municipalities.
South Huron will be receiving the highest sum in the 2022 Ontario Communities Infrastructure Fund, with $1.2 million.
That is followed by Goderich ($1.1 million), Central Huron ($883 thousand), and Huron East ($795 thousand).
The funding is more than double what the province doled out in the OCIF in 2021.
The County of Huron will be receiving $4.3 million.
