The OPP says an alleged drunk driver hit another vehicle in Gravenhurst and then stopped to finish his chicken wings.
The OPP were called about a hit and run last night on Muskoka Road 169 and a short time later, about a vehicle stopped in an intersection on the roadway.
When officers arrived, they say the male driver was behind the wheel finishing his chicken wings, and was unaware of the collision.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 67-year-old William NEWLOVE of Muskoka Lakes, ON, with Impaired Operation CC 320.14(1) (a), Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b) and Fail to report accident.
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 4, 2022 to answer to his charges.
