The 82nd annual CFOS Sun Times Christmas Fund Broadcast hit the airwaves on Sunday and the community stepped up to support a number of local charities and non-profit organizations in Grey Bruce.
For a second straight year, no public concert was held at the Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound for the Christmas Fund Broadcast. Local musicians instead entertained with recordings of their work played on CFOS during the seven-hour fundraising broadcast.
In all, $27,269 in pledges were read by announcers by end of broadcast.
Donations will still be accepted until the end of December at any RBC branch in Bruce and Grey counties during regular business hours.
