SMDHU Fri COVID-19 Update Includes 117 New Cases, 37 Children

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 117 New COVID-19 cases and 2 new deaths.

37 of today’s cases are children.

Today’s update also includes 62 newly resolved cases and two new hospitalizations.

To date, 88 percent of the region’s over 12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 85 percent has received its second.
