SMHDU Thurs COVID-19 Update Includes 97 New Cases, 21 Children

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 97 new COVID-19 cases today and no new deaths.

21 of today’s cases are children.

Today’s update also includes 2 new hospitalizations and 50 newly resolved cases.

To date, 88 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 85 percent has received its second.
