Hospice Orillia’s annual Candles of Remembrance ceremony is going virtual again this year and today is the deadline for submissions.
The event allows community members to gather to honour those who are no longer with us.
Residents are invited to submit a photo, along with a sentiment of their loved ones before the end of the day, which will be included in this year’s virtual ceremony, featuring poetry readings, music, candles and submitted memorials.
The pre-recorded ceremony will become available to the community via the Hospice Orillia website Thursday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m.
