Provincial police have released details of an incident Tuesday afternoon in Stayner in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Highway 26.
Police say a 55 year-old from Clearview is in critical but stable condition in a Toronto hospital, after being struck by an eastbound vehicle near County Road 42.
The OPP’s Technical Collision Investigation Team was called to the scene to help determine what happened.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has information on it is asked to contact Huronia West OPP.
