A man has been arrested in connection with vehicle break-ins in Penetanguishene.
The OPP were called by a resident on Poyntz Street early Wednesday morning, which led to the arrest of a 22 year old man, who police say was trying to hide under a nearby deck.
Police say Matthew Cascanette is charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada charges:
- Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
- Mischief – destroys or damages property
- Theft Under $5000
- Trespassing at Night
The accused is being held for a bail hearing and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland at a future date.
