After 15 years, an Orillia man has shaved off his ‘trademark’ beard to help the local food bank.
Joe Cornelisse made the promise to shave his beard live on Facebook, if he could raise $1,000 for The Sharing Place.
Well, he ended up raising over 7 -thousand dollars and fulfilled his promise on Saturday night.
Joe’s son, who is 11, has never seen him without it.
