An arrest has been made in connection with a counterfeit cash investigation in Midland.
The OPP has released a warning to area retailers last month, after receiving several calls about the passing of fake $100 bills used to make in-store purchases.
Through the investigation, police say a 40 year old man from Tay Township was arrested for Uttering Counterfeit Money.
Police say 40 year old Tyler Handy of Tay Township is also facing charges in a separate investigation involving thefts over the past couple of weeks, at a grocery store on Highway 93, the LCBO on Jones Road, and a jewelry store at the Huronia Mall.
