Applications are now being accepted by the Municipality of Kincardine for the Community Investment Grants.
The grants are available for local non-profit organizations who need assistance in funding their projects which will leave a positive impact on the quality of life in the area in 2022, according to a release.
Any project which supports, sustains, promotes, informs, educates, celebrates, preserves, and/or provides access to specific streams, will be eligible for the funding, including those involved with arts, culture, heritage, sports, recreation, social, health, environment, and tourism.
Mayor Gerry Glover says council is proud to have supported the Community Investment Grants since 2004.
“Throughout the pandemic, our community has rallied together to support one another. This grant is just one of the ways the Municipality of Kincardine can help to support non-profit organizations who are doing meaningful work on the ground,” says Glover.
