A bizarre incident in Bracebridge has resulted in drunk driving charges.
The OPP says it received a 9-1-1 call from a motorist on Sunday morning, who said they were struck by another vehicle on Taylor Road and were now being pursued aggressively by the other driver.
The caller drove directly to the OPP detachment on Cedar Lane, with the other vehicle following closely behind.
Officers intercepted the offending vehicle in the parking lot and subsequently arrested and charged the driver, 30 year-old Trevor EISAN of Bracebridge, ON with Impaired Operation CC 320.14(1)(a), Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b) and Dangerous Operation CC 320.13(1).
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on December 21, 2021 to answer to his charges. Furthermore his driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days and his vehicle has been impounded.
