We go to Game 6 of a curious back & forth World Series tonight in Houston
The Atlanta Braves lead the best of 7; 3 games to 2 and in their hearts they probably believe they should have won the series in 5.
Sunday night, the Braves rode a Grand Slam from Adam Duvall to a lightning quick 4-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning.
After shutting Houston out in Game 3 and holding the gifted Astro hitters to just 2 runs in the Atlanta leg of the Series, it was over….or so many people thought.
But knowing there was no tomorrow, the Astros chipped away and by the the bottom of the 5th inning, Atlanta was down 7-5.
Houston added 2 more runs to make the final 9-5 and stay alive, albeit still trailing in the series, now by a 3 games to 2 count.
But tomorrow is now today, or tonight, with Game 6 at Minute Maid Park.
Max Fried gets the starts for the Braves who will try once again to nail down the World Series title.
The Astros compromised pitching staff will start Luis Garcia & try once again to hold Atlanta and we’ll see if there is a Game 7 tomorrow, or no tomorrow.
