Luke Evangelista opened and closed the scoring as the London Knights won their 7th straight game to open the Ontario Hockey League season.
Evangelista took advantage of a turnover to score an unassisted goal 7 minutes into the game and then sealed the win with another unassisted marker into an empty net with 7 seconds remaining.
Max McCue and Colton Smith on a power play also scored for London who moved to 7 & 0 which includes 4 consecutive wins over the Attack
Brett Brochu made 32 saves to post his 7th consecutive win of the season for the Knights who will host Sarnia on Friday night
Deni Goure scored the lone goal for the Attack on a power play late in the 2nd period.
Goure now has 5 markers on the season, all of them power play goals
Andrew Perrott had an assist on the Goure goal to extend his point scoring streak to 7 straight games.
The Attack who were missing a number of bodies due to injury, sickness and medical conditions will be at Guelph on Friday night to meet the Storm
