SMHDU Thurs COVID-19 Update Includes 24 New Cases, 9 Children

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 24 new COVID-19 Cases today and no new deaths.

Today’s update also includes 1 new hospitalization and 9 newly resolved cases.

9 of today’s cases are children.

To date, 86 percent of the region’s over 12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 82 percent have received their second.

New Cases Include:

8 Innisfil
12 Barrie
1 Gravenhurst
1 New Tecumseth
1 Lake of Bays
1 Clearview
