The mild fall weather is coming to an end, at least for the next few days.
The Weather Network says some showers and thunderstorms will move through the region today, and then a cold front will be moving into the region, with a chance of showers or flurries in some areas as we head into the weekend.
As for today, Meteorologist Nadine Powell says it’s going to be a wet one.
She says about 10-20 mms is possible and as the system’s cold front tracks across the south, there will be the risk of thunderstorms as well, some of which could produce locally strong winds, small hail and heavier rainfall amounts.
The weather agency also says yesterday’s sunny weather near 20 degrees, may be the last for this year with the daily high in the single digits starting Friday through the weekend.
