Health care workers need your support more than ever.
In order to help beat the burnout that many of them are experiencing due to the ongoing pandemic, the Ontario Hospital Association is asking residents to say thanks and show their support by recording a short video message or sending them a letter.
The OHA says it only takes seconds but will go a long way!
It says the video messages will be shared with hospital staff to let them know that Ontarians recognize and appreciate their sacrifices and – with your permission – possibly share some of them publicly on social media.
What you can say in your video:
- Introduce yourself: provide your name, your community and your local hospital
- Thank hospital staff for their amazing work and dedication\
- Share a short story about an experience you may have recently had or why what they’re doing matters
- Try to keep your video to 20-30 seconds\
