Wasaga Beach resident Tony Beresford has been honoured with a quilt through the Quilts of Valour.
Beresford, a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces, received a quilt for injuries sustained while an active member in the forces.
Mayor Nina Bifolchi and Deputy Mayor Sylvia Bray were on hand for the presentation on Friday.
All Quilts of Valour recipients are nominated and considered a tribute to an injured Canadian Armed Forces member, past or present.
