A special Orange Shirt Day march and gathering are planned for Thursday (Sept 30th) by the Huntsville Public Library in partnership with the Town.
The National Truth and Reconciliation Day-timed event commemorates the residential school experience and will bear witness to and honour the healing journey of survivors and their families.
At 1 pm the march starts at the High Street Municipal Parking Lot.
At 1:30 a ceremony happens at River Mill Park with special guest speakers.
Everyone is welcome – the Town says the parking lot will be closed between 7 am and 1:30 pm.
