The Ministry of Labour will again be conducting education and compliance visits to a variety of different businesses across Simcoe Muskoka next week.
The visits will help ensure that businesses follow public health guidelines to protect workers and the public from COVID-19.
The introduction of Ontario’s proof of vaccination requirement that came into effect last week and is one of several protective measures that businesses and organizations must comply with under the Reopening Ontario Act regulations.
Businesses that choose to ignore the new laws face hefty fines between $1,000 to $10-million.
