A protest against pandemic restrictions was held Sunday in downtown Port Elgin.
A large crowd of people gathered in Coulter Parkette at the intersection of Goderich Street (Hwy 21) and Green Street.
Some of the signs they held read, “Passports are tyranny and discrimination,” “No mandated experimental vaccines,” “CNO and RNAO do not speak for all nurses,” “Say no to the segregation of vax passports,” and “Hands off our children.”
A post on social media from a protest attendee and member of a new group that calls itself “Grey-Bruce Freedom Fighters,” says they believe a vaccination passport will create a split society.
