The OPP has charged a 47 year old man for allegedly drunk driving in Wasaga Beach.
An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle on Stonebridge Boulevard on Saturday night, when the driver, from Toronto, was arrested.
Police say Robert DELUCA 47 years of Toronto has been charged with Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and further with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody on an recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on October 19, 2021.
In addition, the involved vehicle was impounded for 7 days along with receiving a 90 day drivers licence suspension on the spot as per the conditions set out in the Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS).
