The first case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at a school in Huron County for this 2021-22 academic year.
The Avon Maitland District School Board confirmed a single case at Exeter Elementary School.
According to the AMDSB, the case prompted the closure of one class.
No outbreak has been reported, and Exeter ES remains open.
