More history has been made in space.
SpaceX has launched four private citizens into orbit around Earth.
It’s the first mission to space (dubbed Inspiration4) with an all-civilian crew and no professional astronauts aboard.
The quartet of amateur space travelers, led by American billionaire Jared Isaacman, blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida just after 8 o’clock Wednesday night.
The other passengers were two contest winners and a healthcare worker who survived childhood cancer.
The group will spend three days orbiting Earth, enjoying panoramic views of our home planet every 90 minutes, before splashing down off the Florida coast this weekend.
The ticket price for all four seats was reportedly $200 million.
