A main segment of road will be closed for three days in Goderich.
Between Monday and Wednesday, Huron Road (Hwy 8) will be closed between Cambridge Street and Mill Road for construction, just west of Zehrs.
The Goderich Exeter Rail Association will be replacing a segment of track along the rail crossing.
This section of Huron Road will reopen to all lanes of traffic on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Town officials say all four lanes of Huron Road will be closed during the three-day construction.
A gravel path will be available for pedestrians to use, only after construction has been completed for the day.
