Power’s been restored to nearly all hydro customers in Bruce County who were left in the dark after Tuesday’s severe storm.
Westario Power says all of its customers have their service restored, while Hydro One is reporting only one isolated outage affecting fewer than 20 customers near the Lake Huron shoreline.
Clean-up work continues in many of the areas impacted by the storm. Westario Power advises further isolated outages may be required to safely clear trees and brush, or to repair broken poles and wires.
A ground team from the Northern Tornadoes Project was out yesterday surveying storm damage near Saugeen Shores. On Wednesday, two Northern Tornadoes Project teams surveyed damage from Kingsbridge to Kenilworth Line. A social media post from the group says the data is being analyzed, and was quite complex from Kingsbridge to Lucknow.
