A total of 36 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the latest update by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
It says among the new cases: 29 involved unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals, and seven fully vaccinated people, while 25 of the new cases involve patients under the age of 35, 10 of them children.
The new cases reported include:

2 Oro-Medonte
1 Tay
2 Wasaga Beach
2 Essa
1 Innisfil
6 Bradford WG
3 New Tecumseth
2 Muskoka Lakes
2 Huntsville
The health unit also reported another 55 local cases have screened positive as a variant of concern, along with 52 more confirmed cases of the Delta variant in the region.
