Another 35 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Simcoe-Muskoka.
The health unit says among the new cases, 28 are in unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals, and seven fully vaccinated people, while 23 of the new cases involve patients under the age of 35, 7 of them children.
The new cases include:

2 Oro-Medonte
3 Midland
1 Tay
2 Clearview
2 Wasaga Beach
7 Essa
1 Innisfil
1 Bradford WG
6 New Tecumseth
2 Huntsville
The health unit also says 14 people from Simcoe County and one person from the Muskoka District are hospitalized with COVID-19.
Another 11 cases of a COVID-19 variant have been reported in the region, while another 8 local cases have screened positive as the Delta variant.
