Canada Post may be moving its post office on Main Street in Penetanguishene.
It is proposing a relocation because the existing site no longer meets the corporation’s needs and would enable the office to modernize and upgrade its service delivery, which would improve the customer experience.
Canada Post says moving to a new location would not cause a reduction in service to the community, but it’s asking for public feedback on the move.
It is undertaking a public consultation before deciding whether or not to relocate this post office.
Residents and business owners who would like to provide feedback are being asked to visit their website by clicking here or send a letter directed to Retail Feedback, 2701 Riverside Drive, suite N1020, Ottawa Ontario, K1A 0B1.
Canada Post representatives say the request for public input is set to be open until September 16, 2021.
Postal box customers will not have a change to their postal box number and/or postal code address.
