A new storage building will go up at the Wasaga Sports Park.
Council has approved awarding a contract for the building to Prestige Builders Inc.
The prefabricated metal building replaces a poll barn that collapsed last winter at an adjoining property.
Insurance is funding the bulk of the cost for the new building with the $40,000 balance coming from the Parks General Reserves.
Staff anticipate the concrete foundation and floor installation will take place this fall and that the building will be operational by next spring.
