The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 27 new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths.
New cases include 14 in Barrie, 2 each in Collingwood and Huntsville, 4 in Innisfil, and a case each in Bracebridge, Severn, Springwater, Tiny, and Essa.
Today’s update also includes 42 newly resolved cases and 4 new hospitalizations.
To date, 82 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 74 percent have received their second.
