Provincial police report a fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 12 near Gervais Road in Tay Township.
A media release from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment says a motorist came upon the scene Tuesday at 7:10 a.m.
Officers had a stretch of Highway 12 closed until early afternoon as they investigated.
Investigators are seeking any witnesses who may have observed or have dash cam video of any incident involving an motorcycle over the last few days in or approaching the intersection of Highway 12 at Gervais Road, Tay Township.
Also damaged in the crash was the Ministry of Transportation large roadside sign indicating Gervais Road and investigators would like to hear from anyone who may have observed that the sign was damaged also over the last few days.
