A traffic stop in Barrie has resulted in the seizure of drugs and a loaded semi-automatic weapon.
Police say they received information about a suspended driver on Bryne Drive on Saturday afternoon, when the vehicle was stopped and a white substance was seen inside.
All three occupants of the vehicle were arrested, and officers seized a quantity of what’s believed to be cocaine and fentanyl.
A loaded semi-automatic firearm was also located in the car and as a result, all three people were taken into custody on several charges.
The accused include a 24 year old Barrie man, a 30 year Barrie woman and a 22 year old from Guelph.
