Funding is coming for new murals in Lucknow, Point Clark, and Ripley.
In a news release, Huron-Bruce Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa Thompson says Huron-Kinloss is receiving $12,415 to create and install four murals in the downtown areas of of the above listed towns.
“The Rural Economic Development program was created especially for these smaller projects that might not otherwise get funding,” Thompson said.
“It is great to see local municipalities take advantage of the program.”
The RED program contributes up to 50 per cent of the cost of eligible projects.
