Bracebridge OPP is reporting the 20th driver to be charged with impaired operation of a vehicle in their region during the past six weeks.
This morning just before 8 am, a member of the public reported seeing a car positioned alongside Highway 11 South just south of Gravenhurst.
They said the driver’s behaviour seemed concerning.
Officers arrived, investigated, then arrested and charged a 37-year-old Barrie man with being impaired by drug, as well as cocaine and crack cocaine possession.
He was also charged with property obtained by crime under $5,000 and other traffic and liquor licence act offences.
He’s set to appear in Bracebridge court on October 12th to answer to the charges.
His licence was also suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.
