UPDATE: Health Unit Reports 17 New COVID-19 Cases

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 17 new COVID-19 cases today and no new deaths.

New cases include 5 in Barrie, 5 in Innisfil, 2 in Orillia, 2 in new Tecumseth, and a case each in Essa, Severn, and Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Today’s update also includes 22 newly resolved cases and 3 new hospitalizations

To date, 81 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 73 percent has received its second.
