The OPP is investigating a series of door-to-door donation frauds in Springwater Township.
Police say they received two separate reports on Monday, about a 2019 silver Ram pickup truck driving through the Snow Valley area, with two young girls approximately 8-11 years old, who were going door-to-door claiming to be from a well-known charity.
Police say they were asking for donations for several charity groups–including an orphanage, Alzheimer’s research, and Autism services.
The vehicle, two adults, and the two children, were identified by the OPP yesterday, but now investigators would like to speak to any witnesses or alleged victims.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
