The Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 19 new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths.
New cases include five in Barrie, 2 in Oro-Medonte, 3 in Essa, 2 each in Innisfil and Midland, and a case each in Severn, Springwater, Wasaga Beach, Muskoka Lakes, and Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Today’s update also includes 10 newly resolved cases.
To date, 80 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received its first COVID-19 Vaccination dose while 70 percent has received its second.
