The city of Orillia has selected FRAM Building Group as the preferred developer of some prime real estate downtown. Fram was one of the finalists, after companies were invited to submit proposals.
Their plan includes waterfront townhomes, an eight-storey condo building and commercial space.
The company has developed property across Canada and the U-S, including the Shipyards Waterfront in Downtown Collingwood.
The City purchased the front street plaza in 2016 in order to extend Coldwater Street to the waterfront, and to allow the redevelopment of land which will link the downtown with the waterfront.
