A Huntsville business owner is frustrated and facing repair work after his storefront window took a hit from a BB gun last night.
Mike McAvan, owner of the Music on Main music shop/cafe at 7 Main Street West left the store around 7 o’clock and says it must have happened sometime after that/overnight.
“It’s a heritage building and the glass they broke is over 115 years old,” he tells Country 102.
The business owner, who soft-opened his new shop just last week, says it was likely a high-velocity BB gun shot taken from a distance and that its angle was from above.
He says the fact someone could have been in the shop and been hurt during the incident angers him. He’s posted about it publicly on social media and hopes someone can help identify those responsible.
McAvan has reported it to police who have already started canvassing the area.
If you have any information that can help the investigation contact McAvan at 416-433-4680 and Huntsville OPP.
