The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported five new Covid cases and 23 resolved ones on Tuesday.
According to Public Health, residents of Owen Sound, Grey Highlands, West Grey, Meaford and The Blue Mountains tested positive.
The region’s active known case load fell to 156. Eight Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and two others are receiving care outside the area.
More than 206,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Fifteen Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Tuesday are reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Monday.
