Police are investigating an attempted robbery on a trail between Penetanguishene and Midland.
On Sunday morning, police say a woman was jogging near Harbourview Drive, when a man bumped into her and demanded her bag.
However, the victim yelled at the man, and told him that she was calling the police, causing the suspect to flee on foot.
The suspect is described as being 5’9″ tall, medium build with a dark complexion. He was wearing black track pants, a black hoodie, and a baseball hat.
The investigation is continuing, the OPP encourages anyone who may have information regarding this incident to come forward.
The OPP reminds all members of the public to be aware of their surroundings and personal safety at all times.
