
The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 13 new Covid cases and 22 resolved ones on Monday.
According to Public Health, four people from Huron-Kinloss, three from Meaford, two people from Owen Sound and residents of Saugeen Shores, Saugeen First Nation, Grey Highlands and Georgian Bluffs tested positive.
The region’s active known case load fell slightly to 191. Eight Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and six others are receiving care outside the area.
More than 166,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Nine Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Monday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
