The body of a 61 year old Caledon man has been recovered from the water in Arnold’s Bay near Moose Deer Point.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene early Friday afternoon
Members of the public had reported seeing a man having difficulty and slipping beneath the water and not resurfacing.
Officers, along with Muskoka EMS, Moose Deer Point Fire Department, the OPP Marine Unit, and the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) attended and searched the area for the person.
At 4:25 pm, the USRU recovered the body of 61 year-old Errol Knight of Caledon and unfortunately life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.
