Selects Start
The Owen Sound Selects Under 23 squad will be conducting training sessions this weekend at Duncan McLellan Park
The Selects will be on the diamond from 1-4 pm Saturday and again on Sunday from 11 am-2 pm
Initially Owen Sound was to be the host site for the OASA Elimination tournament July 9th-11th.
The potential does exist a similar competition could be hosted in the city later in the Summer.

Coyotes Take Tourigny
The Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League André Tourigny to be their head coach.
Tourigny replaces Rick Tocchet, who was fired May 9th after the Coyotes failed to reach the playoffs for the 7th time in 8 seasons.
For the last 4 seasons Tourigny has been the coach and vice president of hockey operations for the Ottawa 67s of the Ontario Hockey League
Owen Sound native Alan Hepple has also been hired by the Coyotes as the Director of Pro Scouting. Hepple arrives in Phoenix after a lengthy stint with the Colorado Avalanche as Director of Amateur Scouting.
Attack To Firm Up Hockey Staff
Owen Sound Attack General Manager Dale DeGray is expected to officially receive a 3 year contract extension today.
Along with the DeGray, assistant coaches Joey Hishon & Jordan Hill, plus Athletic Therapist Andy Brown and Equipment Manager Trevor Castonguay will also be extended although the length of their renewals is unknown.

Zehr Family Update
The property & possessions of the Zehr Family at Chatsworth were impacted severely by a devastating tornado on Saturday June 26th.
This Saturday, ( July 3rd ), there will be a property clean up party commencing at 8 am.
People are welcome to come & assist and are free to come & go as their time permits.
The only request from the family is that everyone parks on the same side of the road at their residence.
