The 2021 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo has been cancelled.
A release says the Directors of the Ontario Plowmen’s Association were forced to make the difficult decision after ‘relentlessly’ seeking information from the Ontario Government about capacity limits and restrictions– but they say they couldn’t get an answer from the Province.
The directors say they reached critical deadlines when contracts needed to be completed and the physical building of the RV Park and Tented City needed to begin.
It was planned for the October at the Lindsay Fairgrounds and neighbouring Farms in Lindsay, in the Municipality of Kawartha Lakes.
