The Goderich Community Garden is getting ready to hand out its first harvest.
The garden was approved in March at Columbus Park on Balvina Drive, and spokesperson Amanda Beddow says good grown so far will be given to the community Wednesday.
Beddow tells Country 104.9 News radishes, swiss chard, and spinach will be available for free for those in need.
She says volunteers will be at garden to hand out vegetables, and answer any questions for those considering becoming involved.
Anyone with their own produce looking to give their goods to the community is invited to the Garden from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, where volunteers will donate them to patrons.
