A vehicle in a ditch on Highway 11 in Oro-Medonte has resulted in impaired driving charges.
The accident happened on Saturday afternoon, when police were called about the vehicle near Line 6.
When officers arrived, they noticed signs of impairment from the driver and a 36 year old from Barrie was taken into custody.
As a result, Furlani Oldford, age 36, of Barrie, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released on a Form 9 Appearance Notice and is set to appear on July 13, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia.
