The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 21 new Covid cases and 10 resolved ones on Sunday.
According to Public Health, 11 people from Saugeen First Nation, two from Owen Sound, two from West Grey, two people from Huron-Kinloss, and residents of Saugeen Shores, Arran-Elderslie, Hanover and Chatsworth tested positive.
The region’s active known case load is now up to 122. Five Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and two others are receiving care outside the area.
More than 142,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Seven Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Sunday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.
