Canada Day fireworks in Saugeen Shores are being called off for a second straight year.
The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce says in a release the decision to alter Canada Day celebration plans comes due to the pandemic.
“We hope to select a new date for the fireworks once safe viewing and operations are possible,” a statement from the Chamber explains.
The Chamber says the Town of Saugeen Shores will be offering a “Rock the Shores” Canada Day celebration, allowing people to pick up a rock from the Visitor Information Centre to decorate and display by the Big Flag in Southampton.
